Inspiring the Next Generation

SkAI’s contribution to the Space Explorers (SE) program—a long-standing high school program hosted at The University of Chicago—is developing Astro-AI content for their curriculum. In Year 2 and beyond, graduate students, in partnership with SkAI Postdoctoral Preceptors, will develop project-based learning curricula to inspire early interest in Astro-AI and support students as they transition into higher education. More broadly, SkAI has been engaging in different types of high school programs to broaden its network and potential partners.
