Interested in exploring the dynamic intersection of astronomy and AI? Join our community and stay connected through events such as the SkAI Institute public talks, Adler Planetarium Astronomy Conversations, SkAI Annual Conference, and more. SkAI has two levels of membership: SkAI Core and SkAI Affiliates. The minimum criteria are noted below:

SkAI Core: Applicants must have an appointment or be registered at a SkAI core, partner, and/or Satellite Network institution AND be engaged in SkAI-related research.

SkAI Affiliates: Applicants must have an appointment or be registered at a SkAI core, partner, and/or Satellite Network institution OR be engaged in SkAI-related research with SkAI members.

Timeline: Applications are reviewed monthly. After being reviewed, decision notifications are then emailed out. Even if not placed in one of these two member groups, all applicants are added to the SkAI-All mailing list for general SkAI-wide information and the Mailchimp mailing list for the SkAI Weekly Newsletter.
