Planting the Seeds of Discovery

SkAI’s focus on undergraduate education is primarily focused in two areas: its Postdoctoral Preceptor Program and its annual research-intensive summer program, the Satellite Early Education for Discovery (SEED) Program. The SkAI Institute SEED Program is a nine-week paid summer research opportunity for undergraduate students that will prepare them for future research and employment opportunities in astronomy and/or AI.

Satellite Early Education for Discovery (SEED) Program

Program dates: June 15–August 14, 2026
Application deadline: February 15, 2026
Stipend: TBD. Housing and travel costs are also included.
